⁠AURA GROUP and TURANE Group Formalize a Strategic Partnership to Advance The Free Trade Zone Development

AURA GROUP has officially entered into a strategic partnership with TURANE Group Limited, a global trade and distribution company with extensive expertise in commodity sourcing, and infrastructure development across East Africa and international markets.

On October 29, 2025, AURA GROUP welcomed a five-member delegation of investors from TURANE Group, led by its Chairman, Mr. Abdirahman Issack Mohamed. The visit marked a key moment in ongoing engagements between the two organizations, with the primary objective of finalizing and consolidating a partnership agreement aligned with the development of the MAGEBU Free Trade Zone.

The visit included a high-level working session and a site inspection of the AURA GROUP Free Trade Zone in Warubondo, allowing both parties to align on strategic priorities, operational frameworks, and long-term development goals. These engagements culminated in the signing of the first Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AURA GROUP and TURANE Group.

The official signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of AURA Group in Bujumbura (Rohero I, Avenue de l’Industrie No. 11) at 9:00 a.m., shortly before the departure of the TURANE Group delegation.

This partnership represents a significant milestone for AURA GROUP thus reinforcing its commitment to attracting credible international partners and accelerating the development of the MAGEBU Free Trade Zone as a competitive regional hub for trade, logistics, and investment.
